With few days left for the 14th edition of this one-of-a-kind encounter, Apolide keeps reinventing itself offering to its public new ways to enjoy music in the cozy Pianezze area, where even families will have a space. From Thursday 27th to Sunday 30th, a complete program will take place, full of diversity and far away from being predictable.

As every year, different artists from Italy and abroad will go on stage during 72 hours in Apolide Festival. A cosmopolite encounter, in where the public will have the possibility of enjoying different kinds of music without any single style. Tiggs da Author, Ex Otago, Dente, Dardust, Giulia’s Mother, Warhaus, The Minis, Luca Bianchini and Giada Sundas are just some of the several guests in this boutique type festival, that’s to say, events with small audience, focused on creating a more intimate experience.

For Salvatore Perri, one of the organizers of Apolide, the goal is to take people out from everyday life. With more than 50 artists and around 40 activities, they are focused on offering different experiences with a diversity of options. Rock, experimental music, iPop, funky soul, electronics, blues, acoustic and so on. All the exponents are carefully selected by their projects, effort and originality, not because of how commercial or popular they are. “We might catch the audience with one artist, they go to the festival and then they discover many more.”

Apolide distinguishes itself by the services. Music, camping, food and different activities get together to offer an experience that goes beyond a common event. Depending on your lifestyle you can choose between different scenarios to camp, and also different stages to enjoy the shows. The ideal of Apolide is to make people feel they’re actually living in that place, the astonishing Area Naturalistica Pianezze in Vialfrè.

It doesn’t matter if you look for a bit of tranquility or if you want to live the festival at the fullest, the three areas to camp englobe whichever demand. Joongla is pretty close to the stages and it is the right option if you don’t want to sleep that much, the craziest of all. On the contrary, Quiet is more serene, ideal for reconnecting with nature in moments of relax, far away from the stages. Finally is the Family Camp, the novelty of this edition, which allows parents to bring their kids and enjoy with them the four days festival. It has reserved access, bringing a lot of security and fun to the children. Besides, for people who come equipped there is also an area dedicated for Vans.

For each concert or presentation Apolide organizes 3 different stages, each of them with specific characteristics: The Main Stage is the heart of everything, where magic happens. From the afternoon until very late in the night the national and international artists make their presentations in an storm of colored lights.  Boobs Stage, on the contrary, works from the early morning until the early night. It offers more tranquility through acoustic concerts, cultural events and readings encounters. The public can wake up and listen a harp or a guitar concert while they eat their breakfast. Finally there is the Soundwood Stage, pure originality

“We don’t want to be predictable. We want to create an effect on people” affirms Salvatore Perri.  And indeed, this festival has nothing of ordinary. Not enough with the multiple stages and the camping areas, there are other scenarios to enjoy alternative activities.  At Relax Garden everyone would have the opportunity to recovery through Shiatsu massages, yoga and meditation, at at the best fairy tale style. For the kids, there is Family Lab, a space in where children of all ages can stay and play while the rest rest of the family enjoy a concert or share a drink. And because physical activities are a must, Sport Arena brings to the more active public activities such as volley, slacklining, calcetto (5 players football) and so on.
